Does anyone know what brand of cigarettes Dimension smokes? My crew is going to go cig4cig for his set and want to make sure we get the right ones.
This is important

Never trust a buy and sell group that is controlled by the same administrators that seem to be the only ones posting by controlling what gets posted, and limits the amount of post by a person for a day.
It’s a sign they don’t believe in democracy because that would reveal their scam.

Hi first timers! Please make sure to search the subreddit before making posts asking questions! Hope everyone coming for their first year has the most amazing experience and I love that everyone is trying to be as prepared as possible :)
DrAutoFlower has documented many years of going and I watched him before going my first year and it was so so so helpful <3 Happy Shambs everyone! We are so close to coming home!!

- I’m looking for a ride from Vancouver to the nelson area that may be leaving as early as Thursday the 16th.
(Probably a crew member)
- My shift starts on Sunday the 19th. (I’ll be heading in for the 18th)
- I’m staying in Nelson for a couple-O-nights before.

Hi everyone! This is my first year and I’m so excited! Does anyone know if they have merch for sale at the campground? I always hate waiting in lines for merch at the actual festival and would rather wait in line in the day at camp. 🕺 So excited to meet everyone!!

Hey everyone! My partner and I just got back from our 3rd LiB (camped in high noon twice and sunset once). I was wondering if anyone who has been to both festivals can compare the two as far as tent camping. Do we need to expect the same heat from Shambhala? We were talking about arriving Wednesday, but is it really worth showing up Tuesday morning to get Metta? Can someone compare Metta vs Sunshine? Thank you in advance for your help! Can't wait to attend our first Shambhala!!!

Hey friends! My group will have 3 cars and are all driving up from Colorado. We’d love to camp in Starlight but from what I can tell that lot will be full if we arrive early Wednesday. Does that sound right? Alternatively, I’m curious about how many km / minutes you’d say the walk from Sunshine is into the festival grounds / downtown.
Thanks in advance for your help and we are all so excited for our first Shambhala and to meet all of you! 💚🌳

So I bought a ticket from what is probably a scam Facebook page.
They did transfer a ticket into my account and it is still visible- but I fell for a gift card request. I tried sending an e-transfer, but my bank kept telling me NO!
Rumour is that the scam doesn’t make its self apparent until I roll up to the gate.
So in the meantime I’m just here in limbo wondering if I could still secure the ticket I have without scrambling to buy another ticket.
Ps.
I changed my password and I still see it there over a month later. I reached out to the Shambhala company and they told me I should only buy from them. I am on their list still but I haven’t seen anything yet and I’m getting massive fomo already :(
I’m still a rookie- this was/is going to be my second exp and I was/am really looking forward to it!!
Please keep me in your thoughts through these trying times.

Okay so clearly people have purchased from these guys as it looks like they advertise 25 "luxury" spots 🙄 with only 19 still in stock.
Is it wrong if we completely dox them on the grounds once they setup. I would hope Shambhala steps in to shut them down and I hope they never make it across the border to begin with....BUT if they do and manage to setup in Sunshine who is down to be the most annoying neighbour's as a warm Shambhala welcome?
Sorry this isn't very PLUR of me but damn, it pisses me off they are even a thing still.

On the last night of the fest last year we carried around a cardboard box filled with things to give out to the fam that we couldn't fly home with that we thought others could benefit from- bananas, granolas bars, grill lighters, a groundscored mango, etc. Someone left this note in the box when I wasn't looking. My name isn't Kai, so that part makes me giggle. But every now and then, when life would get tough throughout the past year, I'd take this note out to give myself a reminder of what it feels like to be on the farm and it kept me going. Thanks to whoever left this. I can't wait to be with you all in July.

Hello everyone, I'm "that guy taking pictures on the bus" from last year.
In the immortal words of Queen, "I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me."
To make a VERY long story short, things have been rough the past little while and Shambhala is the one thing I look forward to in Canada. Is there anyone that will be going from Grande Prairie to the farm on the 20th and returning on the 28th?
I'll obviously help with fuel and I have thousands of stories between travelling to around 20 countries in the past 5 years, working construction/oilfield, and some questionable life choices.
I haven't got my volunteer schedule yet, but once I do I'll be posting my availability for taking pictures of people in their festival gear. Anyone that can help me out gets first dibs on some free pics. :P
Love you all and I can't wait to see everyone on the dance floor! <3

Two years ago we needed a extra ticket for shambs, ended up picking one up for 100$ less then the ticket price 2 days before we left. Theres always someone with something that comes up, just have to be diligent and careful not to get scammed!!! This works for 1 or two tickets wouldnt risk it with more otherwise..

I just bought an enchanted forest from a friend who is no longer going.
Online, it says the early entry is non-transferable.
Does that mean you can't transfer just the early entry, or does it mean that if the camping is transferred, the recipient does not get the 2 waived early entry fees?

So my bestie put in a two week time off request back in mid march / early April for shambs. They didn’t say it was for a festival but for a spiritual retreat (which not far off) so that it would hopefully help with them approving it since that’s considered a type of religion. The store that they work at hasn’t treated their workers with respect in the past and the manager that denied it is constantly misgendering and is just rude a lot of the times. Mind you my friend has not gotten a single time off request accepted the whole time they’ve worked there and they constantly get left alone even on their 2nd/3rd day with the company. We’re willing to do anything to get this time off approved because they deserve to go and have a much needed vacation , especially since this is the last year we’re going for a while. I’m curious if anyone knows anything about forging doctor’s notes ?? Or any good reasons/ ideas of things that they can’t deny ?? WERE DESPERATE (we live in Cali btw)

Casually browsing Indeed when I thought to look up what working at SMF would be like
https://ca.indeed.com/jobs?q=shambhala&l=Nelson%2C+BC&radius=50&from=searchOnDesktop
Site Manager, $25/hr? Sheesh. Same for 'Festival Auditor'. Min wage is $18.25 for reference. Thoughts?

Hey Shambhala fam,
Coming back for my second year and couldn't be more hyped but I'm dealing with a situation this time around and wanted to tap into the collective wisdom of people who know the farm better than anyone.
Back in February I injured my right foot and was recently diagnosed with a stress reaction/bone edema in my 5th metatarsal. No fracture but it's been a slow recovery and I'm currently in a wheelchair for the next couple weeks to properly offload it.
I'll be camping in Central Park again and I'm genuinely so excited to be back!! I just want to be realistic and prepared about navigating it with a mobility limitation this year.
A few things I'd love input on:
I've already emailed the Shambhala accessibility team but wanted to hear from people with real on the ground experience.
I'm doing everything I can to be recovered enough to enjoy it properly but also being realistic that I may need to take it easier than I'd like. Any advice, honesty, or tips are massively appreciated.
See you on the farm 🙏

First timer here! I am quite worried about the dust. I have seen people say a bandana or a normal kn95 mask is fine, etc. but I’ve also heard the opposite— that people cough up black, get shambhalung, etc.
I have asthma and carry my inhaler everywhere, but my asthma can get so bad to the point where I have had to bring my nebulizer to festivals.
I’m typically fine when I’m in the crowd, but walking to and from camp is where my concern comes from. Should I get a regular kn95 mask? Or one of these 2 options:

Hey!
Just curious what everyone’s experiences have been like waiting in the shambhala line :)
For those of you who showed up at midnight, when did you make it in?
Same question for those who showed up at 6am?
Thank you 😊
Edit: we plan on getting there Tuesday as we want to camp in Starlight. Considering either getting a hotel close by and get there for 6am or get there for 12am :) I’m not sure if getting there at 12am is frowned upon and don’t want to be disrespectful to people working.
