The living host echo only mentions the host rating but doesn't say what host grade or scale you get. Intuitively I would say resonance but that would enable technomancers to create world spanning ultraviolet hosts.

The description says any host you have visited can be copied that would also allow ultraviolet hosts if you've ever been to one.

You are not actually a true host. You are emulating a host. There is no foundation. There is no IC. You can't connect an unlimited amount of devices. The entire host will collapse if you move more than 1 meter.

Having said that;

Grade

A number from 1 to 6 representing the sophistication of the simsense interface

You can change the appearance and architecture of your Living Host at will, even to mimic the appearance of any host you have visited.

Translating this to "host grades" would mean quite a high rating (4-6).

Scale

A number from 1 to 6 that sets the effective area of the host’s LAN or WAN.

Devices that are far away will not be able to connect (due to noise), but if they are close enough to be part of your host then they could also act as matrix facing wireless access points for your host. Indirectly you could use this to state the "size" of the "host scale".

Translating this to "host scale"; with no devices, the only access point is your living persona which would mean a "host scale" = 1, but if you have matrix facing wireless devices still part of your host that are kilometers away then you would be looking at "host scale" = 3 or so. You are likely never going to have a bigger "host scale" than that (1-3).

I feel this is a reasonable approach. Could I combine a living host with lvl 9 matrix Relais and satellite uplink to make it available in multiple sprawls worldwide?

Living hosts are temporary constructs. It take a lot of concentration for the technomancer. And the technomancer need to remain in the same geo location the entire time. Yer only going to run the host for some hours. Maybe a day.

I was considering an ultraviolet interrogation blue room. Basically have some thugs kidnap a person, force that person into hotsim while unconscious and have them wake up either in a blue room or a simulation. With matrix Relais this could be anywhere in the world. A bit like the vr torture scene in altered carbon. If using a framework host this could be paired with psychotropic ice. Yes I know torture is bad, but you never know when you need that plan.

Normal matrix protocol seem to automatically switch to AR if the user become unconscious (unless link-locked).

Spoof command and control device would both work for this I think. My DM or I if I DM, would probably ask for a hardware test to modify a simsense module to link-lock the wearer. I remember some of the flufftexts hinting at that possibility. My general rule of thumb is: "if I fits the genre it works"
