In the USA people respect those in service , what makes it different here. My time during service afraid that sit down also wrong , stand up people complain our bag too big take up space , people also complain stink of perspiration. Everything also got issue.

The young men these days not only have to complete with themselves but also the flow of influx that is “hungry and willing” as mentioned by a recruiter….

The old uncles are seated and chatting happily, the NSFs are on their phones minding their own business in a half empty train with plenty of space to walk around. The backpacks are not blocking anyone's way. I see absolutely nothing wrong with the photo.

(personally tho if it's a handful or two of stops only and the thing is annoyingly bulky, imho it's kind of a hassle to put down and shoulder the thing back up again..
lean it against a wallsurface like the bloke near the doors &stuff sure, but depending how the straps work vs the current load of the pack..
even if i gave in to the sitdown-standup unertia-leceh of actually taking a seat i might not bother de-shouldering the thing & just perch my butt midway on the chair if it's not a whole halfline/¾g-or-more ride, lols)
