Flock cameras
I’ve been trying to reach out to a few activists groups to protest the recent boom in these unsafe and unethical AI surveillance tech. We need a city ordinance or regulation at least.Does anyone else hate seeing these and knowing our information and safety is at risk ?

I've been talking to the city council on it and they have a policy and their position is that it covers it and the data is not being used inappropriately. I think it's pretty far fetched that the federal government is somehow denied access if they want it. Lots of articles about risks around who can use the data. As far as what do to, I think it's probably more and more people complaining, but so far they've not seemed super interested in changing it.

Yeah I agree. That’s why I’m trying to reach out to more local activists groups. In particular, there was a group that got a that local military micro chip facility shut down off of 280.

You should reach out to state rep David Gottfried (my, and likely your state rep). He's authored a couple bills focused on regulating AI and he would certainly be a sympathetic ear on this issue.
