I like brushing and applying good stuff to my boots or shoes in general. I have heard around here not to apply nothing to my Hawthorne’s . I definitely don’t want them to darken. Any product suggestions??

First. Don't apply conditioner to your Brand new boots ! Makes absolutely no sense at all. Conditioner is to recondition when it's going dry or of you just cleaned up cause it got messy. Most people , majority of the people condition their boots including me either once a year or after seasons. You condition your boots all the time then your gonna see stitches becoming undone , color changing, discoloration. Majority of the boots that I've seen that's been over conditioned leather looks like crap big time . Don't over think it . Just wear it.
