OC My super interesting living room - featuring one of my cats and one of my sons’ chairs

REALLY looking forward to getting these floors refinished. Previous owner had at least one dog. :/ Anyway. The room has that table and stool back there, and I use the space to paint when there’s good light, sometimes do yoga, and sometimes sit in that window with a cat and watch the world go by. That’s it.

Thank you! That room is much cooler than the den in the summertime so we end up in there on those evenings that are slow to cool down. He brings our yoga mats and the deck of Uno cards and I grab the radio from the kitchen and plug it in. I wish those windows opened but it still beats huddling around an a/c register and wishing for autumn.

Aw, that sounds cozy (at least as cozy as possible when it’s hot out). I’m dreading taking our AC unit back out of the closet when it warms up. It sticks out so far into our main room and is horribly ugly and loud. I’d love to get rid of it, but living on the fourth floor of an apartment building it can get very unpleasant in the summer without it.

Lol. He’s an orange cat. One of four, and not my fluffiest either. I’m surprised he was the only one in the window when I took the pic.

Orange, that explains the one brain cell! 😂 Although my daughter has what we call an orange masquerading as a gray. I never see that cat with a thought going on in those eyes or brain lol

Mmmmm very nice. I'm interested in the rest of the room and also the whole house if you care to share. I don't want to intrude, I just like your style. I aspire to be even more of a minimalist and have even less belongings.
