Honestly, loss of job and income is far more likely than any war where your stores will be useful. A significant war that involves the UK being bombed is not going to end where you usb key with the Simpsons early seasons and your canned beans and cross bow comes in handy

The big one is losing your job. Nothing else is as likely to mess up your life as that. That can ruin your whole year, and right now is not a good time to be looking for work either.

The one that's coming now - another round of cost of living crisis and inflation, due to the war in Iran. Possible supply issues for natural gas, although they say that's vanishingly unlikely, the same as the Tories said a few years back and it was fine then.

Power cuts, always fun to prepare for them.
