What tobacco to bring back from Italy? NSFW

Coworker is going to Italy for a vacation. Here in Canada we get hosed on pipe tobacco ($60-100 per 50g tin) and he can bring back up to 200g with minimal taxes.

Cimette. It’s the Dark Fired leaf trimmings from the manufacture of Toscano cigars, can be used to strengthen other blends by adding small amounts to taste. It’s not exported so it’s unique. I bring back two 50g boxes every time I travel to Italy, and share it with friends.

Great recommendation. Stuff you can only get there is definitely worth trying.

Though i normally enjoy tobacco in a pipe, I would honestly ask for as many packs of Toscano antico as they would bring back. Delicious cigars you can stretch by cutting it in half.

not exactly a smoker's paradise, in Italy. Best stuff you can get is probably the Rattray's. rollie and cigarettes are dirt cheap, but pipe tobacco is taxed at a premium, because of course it is.
