United States Phone Suggestion

I'm currently looking for a phone to replace my old IPHONE SE from 2017, I was wanting to ask what phones you would suggest. I'm wanting to stay away from Iphones as the repair costs/limitations of them are less then ideal.

Feel free to give your suggestions, I currently use Total Wireless as my carrier so please something that functions with them. My current eye is on a S25+ that a local place has refurbished for 600$ near me, though was wanting to see other peoples opinions who are more knowledgeable.

Depending on the storage offered, the S25+ could be a great choice. How much storage will you be getting on it?

While the 512gb version is ideal, you'll still get a great deal with no issues if gaming isn't your primary use.

Its not my primary use, though as long as it can run decently well. If not the S25, any other suggestions?

If you don't mind it, I suggest you check out the OnePlus 15. I assume you'd prioritize the cameras more, and they're comparable to the S25 and S25+, the zoom is definitely better though (when not comparing with the Ultra of course). Battery is basically the biggest plus, pun intended. It should easily last two days on light to normal use.

If you're not keen on Chinese phones, then the S24 Ultra refurb or used is also nice. You'll only sacrifice 2 years of updates, which frankly is more or less the same as the OnePlus.

After Huawei was outlawed most brand have also been hesitant to take space in the American market, but I hope I've at least helped. Thanks for at least incorporating my opinions.

Camera's arent a massive deal for me [I've been using the first Generation Iphone SE for 10 years XD] Main thing for me is the battery and the hardware speed, I want it to be able to perform well with most apps. I don't play alot of games, though I would like the ability.

I also found a S25+ unlocked Factory Sealed being sold by Cell Traders, which they state they do returns and have a 1 year Samsung warranty for 700$.

Chinese phones arent horrible, though im not certain if my carrier [Total Wireless] supports them, I was originally debating getting a Red Magic phone but heard the software was lackluster, but hardware is amazing.

Would you mind checking with OnePlus devices? They offer basically everything from the RedMagic, and as a cherry on top, a software that outperforms even Samsung.

If it's not possible, the S25+ should handle everything you throw at it just fine too. Although the OnePlus has newer hardware and the battery lasts a lot longer.

The One Plus doesnt look bad, do you know if they do specials/sales? I know Prime Day is coming soon so wasnt certain if they may do something for it.

Additionally, Ive heard Oneplus is shutting down in alot of markets soon, wouldnt this affect it?

I believe there shouldn't be anything affecting their software updates as they've moved on from making their OS fully in-house to relying on OPPO's codebase.
