1E Resources Looking for a monster

Hey guys, I have been looking for a monster for months now. I saw it in a book that I'm fairly certain was a pathfinder book but I could be wrong.

I only remember the image of it and the description but not the name.

This monster is parasitic in nature and lives inside a humanoid host controlling their corpse. It can control multiple people I think and there is for sure a statblock for a Broodmother type as well.

The image itself is of a bartender that looks like it has the Resident Evil 4 virus with the parasite protruding out of its neck with the guys head on the end of it.

I could be misremembering some of the details but I believe they typically moved in under small towns and took over people for easy food

It's a dnd 3.5 monster called the Mockery Bug. The queen is the Mockery Monarch.

It's a very memorable monster so as soon as I read your description of the bartender it clicked

It is! Im wanting to try and build an adventure around it but I could only remember the picture and every time I googled just the description the only thing that popped up was resident evil monsters.
