News New Official Subscription-only Platform and Licensed Series Announcement
Hello everyone. First off, I would like to thank you all so much for the incredible support and encouragement on my previous post.
I’m thrilled to announce Tsuki, an official, subscription-based platform (no extra purchases / ‘coins’ involved, now or ever) with optional tipping, catered to shoujosei demographics. A single subscription for full library access.
Launch comics:
-杀死男主然后成为女魔头 (Kill the Male Lead to Become the Villainess)
-向师祖献上咸鱼 (Offering Salted Fish to Grandmaster)
-全书反派听见我心声后 (When the Villains Heard My Inner Voice)
-不准觊觎漂亮少爷 (House of Secrets)
Starting subscription rates are $5 / month and $3.5 / month (billed quarterly), until our catalog expands to 25+ comics (hopefully we reach there).
Our team does not use Generative AI or Machine Translation (MTL) anywhere in our production pipeline.
I’ll be posting regular updates here, Twitter and our Discord server.

P.s. We aren’t live yet. The licenses to the titles have just been acquired. Launch should be in a couple of months, if things go smoothly

I've waited for almost 2 years and KTMLTBTV finally has an official English translation! 😭🙌 I can support my fave series twice (bilibili and now Tsuki)!! ✨️✨️✨️

Thank you! There have been moments where I wasn’t sure this was gonna work out or just land me neck deep in debt, but all the positive, supportive comments made me want to go ahead with the plan. Besides shoujosei manga/hwa/hua have influenced me a lot so I’ve always wanted to do something like this. Not to mention, reading should be cheap and not a luxury. I’ve long been frustrated with micro transactions. Doesn’t make sense to ‘buy’ a chapter if you can’t own it

I was interested in Kill the Male Lead to Become the Villainess so I will probably subscribe ❤️ I only read official translations so I was waiting for that.
If you need a Japanese translator, lmk. My actual job is translation and I have translated Japanese manga before (tho not to English).

SQUEEEEEE I literally made a post asking if an official subscription based service existed or not!!!! This is so hype. Because I want to support the official release but do not want to deal with coins or micro transactions. Don’t know if it’s in my budget right now but I’ll keep an eye on this. Keep up the good work!!

That is exciting. I am very interested in a subscription-platform that doesn’t lock a significant amount of content behind an additional paywall. Can’t wait for it to launch.

Same, the BiliBili Comics suddenly updated and is working for me. I just never deleted the app after it announced it’s departure however many years ago.

The subscription model is refreshing but the real test is whether it holds once the catalog grows, most platforms cave to microtransactions around that point

Congratulations! I remember seeing your original promotion post for this site a few months ago. It's nice to know that significant progress has been made. I do have a question though it looks like as of now all the titles licensed are manhua, do you plan to expand into licensing manhwa and manga soon? There's only been one manhua I've been interested in checking out, Kill the Male Lead to Become the Villainess, which you do have licensed. But for me personally I don't see myself becoming a subscriber unless there are manhwa and manhwa titles available on the platform as well.

Manga definitely yes but I’ll be honest, manhwa licensing is much more costly and competitive and the space is already dominated by giant corporations. ATP almost all newly released manhwa titles are picked up by them

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out. Oh Song of the Long March is I feel like the OG manhua for a lot of the international audience. I remember wanting to check it out years ago because it constantly was ranked as one of the top rated works on MangaUpdates but it went on a long hiatus because the author had a disagreement with their publisher. I had no idea until your comment that it was resolved but I'm glad to hear it was and the author can finally continue with the story.

Long March is a goated series and it would be an honor to license it. The creator, Xia Da, won the legal battle with her previous publisher a few years ago. She recently finished vol 10 of Song of the Skypacers and said she’s resuming her work with Long March. Check out this post
