The Flying Whale and the singing thing? What was it the earth Wich need to breath whatever-
12
u/Cerulean_Shadows Jul 05 '25
From reading your comment, my first thought was the singing thingy was a potted petunia.... Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.. and I'm absolutely laughing myself silly
21
u/YunJingyi Jul 05 '25
This story made absolutely no sense. To this day I wonder why it wasn't axed on season 2.
10
u/Cerulean_Shadows Jul 05 '25
Agreed. I stopped reading early on. Can't imagine sticking around long enough to get to the end
3
u/Kazuhiko96 Jul 06 '25
It made sense... Till the Flying Whale... In my opinion, I have a vivid memory of that for how absurd it was and that I dropped it not too much after, because I felt the Plot was lost by then. It started cool, the Genius Child thing doesn't make me feel itchy at all, or creeped nonetheless, and the Singing was ok till then, as the plot is about understand why and how she turned back in time, the mysterious death of her family etc. But the whole "Sing for make the land Breath?" I guessed right and ditched it, Sadly because I truly liked the characters and the art...

u/2incredible Jul 05 '25
This is all I want to know. Like did that ever come back? Was her original goal ever mentioned again? Was it ever established why she regressed?
39
u/sumirina Recyclable Trash Jul 05 '25
Looking through the comments, nobody seems to be able to answer that 🫣 is there really nobody around that continued reading the series? It's staggering how so many people have started reading it but everyone seems to have dropped it sooner or later 😅
16
u/Platinumtide Jul 05 '25
I was still up to date 5-6 months ago and it didn’t seem anywhere close to finishing. They must have done a lot more time skips.

u/Missingnoleader Jul 19 '25
Yes, the entire last two seasons is confronting why she came to the past now that she's got the power, at that point she's been aged fully to adulthood. Everything is actually explained.
273
Jul 05 '25
The start was cute but I dropped it when she decided to pursue her singing career. But I'm glad she got a happy ending.
264
u/AmethystMoon420 Jul 05 '25
So did she finally solve her family's murder (or whatever was the reason she regressed)

u/lunawithanL Spill the Tea Jul 05 '25
They kinda go off plot after a while from what I heard.
136
u/softlygone Jul 05 '25
It went off from murder mystery to kpop idol career for a good few years ngl so I might pick it back up now to see the original plot finally unfold
51
u/AlternativePlayful34 Jul 05 '25
Wait, I know she stayed a baby for a long time and that the plot strayed from the murder mystery but K-pop? Seriously?
70
u/softlygone Jul 05 '25
She was a singer-slash-model preteen?teen? with fans 🤩
7
u/ShinyStarSam Jul 05 '25
Wait it's not set in a fantasy world?
15
u/Star-Candy Jul 05 '25
It is, but there are cameras (new invention ig) and she becomes a model for their business. The singing was at a bar too.
51
u/VenusSmurf Jul 05 '25
The author forgot there was a plot. The MC was supposed to be saving her family from being murdered again but keeps doing things that either don't help her achieve that goal or instead puts her family in more danger. And, of course, everything she does is just so adorable that everyone loves her just for existing.
This was the worst Mary Sue I've ever encountered.
1
u/MeaningMuted8964 Jul 06 '25
me too! Almost 90% of its readers said that it was not bad but not good,it seems that the author kept going in circles and didn't focus on the plot and the fl was just a cute creature in the OI ,so readers got bored...

u/Decent-Shame6514 Jul 07 '25
Don’t read it I started it in middle school and I am now in my last year of high school, the plot get lost mid story and it’s just annoying having to see her as a baby 100+ chapters

I'm shocked a little because I genuinely thought it'd be one of those stories that has 300+ chapters

u/EdgySadness09 Jul 05 '25
Huh? I felt like it was only recently she became a teen+ from a baby. I thought it’d take a long while till her adult/end. She got a glow up so hard too in this pic ngl

I remember picking it up because the cover had a guy with white hair and blue eyes - unique for a male lead in those times - and this guy didn't show up for like 80 something chapters while the whole world was falling at her feet. Insane.

u/JustForYuu Jul 05 '25
So… did shet get her revenge? Coz I stop reading this when girlie suddenly become an idol

i started reading in 2020 or 2021 (i think?) and i was like omfg she’s still 5 and we’re like a 100 chapters in when is she growing up? 😭😭😭 my sisters and i would talk sh*t about this one since it dragged and it’s lowkey weird that she is just a kid for like 90% of the story (at the time? idk i havent read since chapter 80 or 90) so the fact that it’s finally over is lowkey crazy💀 this seemed like one of those stories that would never end

u/Crystal_Paradise Unrecyclable Trash Jul 05 '25
ok i can’t say the plot was too coherent but i gotta give it to them, the art looks mostly the same as season 1 which is more than what i can say for most OI out there

Does anyone know if she ever actually ended up getting revenge for her family or whatever her original goal was.
1
u/Layla_Lux10 Jul 06 '25
Well from what I remember I got bored cause she stayed a baby for too long BUT nothing will beat Daughter of the Emperor and one whose name I can't remember but esentialy FL was reincarnated in a world where women were treated like trash and there was a modern setting with an emperor and in these two stories they stay as babies for SO LONG it makes you sleep. I almost pulled through the first one but gave up on the 1st one cause she was kinda insufferable when she grew up and the second was kinda boring.
1
u/glimmeringcrow Jul 06 '25
can someone tell me about who killed her family and if she ever got her revenge? and what ever is the mystery that was going on in her first life?
