Advice Interviews must go

They are such a small glimpse into a person and count for way to much. Furthermore they can be easily prepared for with expensive training.

I think we need to bring admission exams into Canada - similar to SATs or ACTs. There are too many issues with the current system. Some schools easier - others harder …
Online schools where chat gpt is writing exams…. Accommodations granted where circumstances are questionable.

Which program requires interviews? I know commerce does and I think it is important. You need to be presentable in business. Don't know about other programs.

Any program with a KIRA interview - Queens nursing and health sci, Mac engineering, etc.

The same thing can be said about grades. Ultimately the "best" way to evaluate should be a combination of various metrics.

A 10min interview is much different than a year or two of academic achievement.

This is so wrong bru. There is a lot you can tell abt a person in the first 5 minutes, infact most ppl will make an opinion on someone within the first 7-30 seconds of meeting them. Someone obv didn't spend enough time on their social life.
