Dorm essentials

My son will be heading to ODU this fall and as graduation approaches I’m putting together an Amazon list of items for his dorm. What are your suggestions??

Fridge is obvious. Microwave might not be allowed, but it is easy to hide. Electric kettles are allowed and i would reccomend getting one. The dorm chairs are fine the desks are fine. Unless you olan on helping him move in and out, bring the least amount of things neccecary. Last year i only packed what coupd fit in a sedan and i never felt like i needed more.

plates, bowls, cups and silverware are something that can get overlooked.

microwaves are allowed, but in most dorms there is a communal microwave that the entire hallway can use.

If you are allowed to have one, get one. If you arent, get one anyways
