I understand there’s an “investigation” by the SBI and all that. But if I went out here and just whaled on someone my ass would be in jail. Like real jail. Probably with a huge bond if at all. This dude gets to be free while the “investigation” continues? Horse shit.

Shelby citizens won't let this go smoothly. The only reason he even got in trouble at all is because a ton of people showed up at Shelby police department to protest. They got rid of him to save their image.

Bullshit… Shelby are a bunch of Maga bootlickers… there will be a few performative, but nothing will be done. cop will move to Georgia or to eastern North Carolina and get job doing same thing until it’s caught on camera again…

Set up a Google search for his name. If he gets hired somewhere else, it will show up. Protests can re-start in his new hometown.

Not trying to sound rude, but you’re being naive. Who’s gonna show up to protests in Shelby? This shits gone on for a long time. You think all the sudden people are gonna care? Qualified immunity allows them to do what they want. It’s why certain communities don’t fuck with the police.

This isn’t the old brand of hillbillies and rednecks who believed “yeehaw fuck the law”… Republicans turn d them into bootlickers who justify this bullshit every step of the way. It’s the same people that did mental gymnastics to vote for a Rapist in the Oval Office…

Not in Shelby. Local papers love to post about new hires to local police and sheriff's office; as well as school enforcement officers.

I can't believe he's not in jail, if for nothing else, for his own safety. I don't live near there but after watching the video, I was ready to beat his cowardly ass myself.

Like , if I worked at Walmart and got pissed at an annoying customer and proceeded to beat the fuck outta them, not only would I be arrested id be fired too. Like immediately. The cops wouldn't sit around for a couple of days figuring out what to do with me.
