It's gotta be something in the waters of North Carolina. I have yet to visit a coastal town that wasn't full of amazingly hospitable people. Swansboro is right up there with the very best.

Captain Charlie's was my favorite restaurant ever in my life. It was almost at ceremonial event to go. It will be missed.

The restaurants near the park were jumping last night. Sounds like they doing karaoke and having a blast!

Ever cleaned them before steaming? We cut them in half and remove the gills first. I like it better and they are easier to fit in the steamer basket.

I have some recipes that I looked up recently. Hopefully I can get through steaming and picking the crab without eating them.

A beautiful place, with beautiful people. Thanks to the locals who were very pleasant to fish and crab with. And those who were just passing through, chatting with us and wishing us luck.
