The way I see most Nissan owners upgrade the OEM stereo is with one of those big battery powered boom boxes, with Bluetooth, in the trunk. If you need to use the trunk for something I could also recommend attaching it to your roof with self tapping screws. That way the people you drive past will also get to enjoy your very promising SoundCloud rap and can drun up some real hype around town

Crash it into a guardrail, I hear that helps to get the original unit out

Hey bro, just gonna give you the heads up. This sub is dedicated to making fun of stereotypical Nissan drivers.

It is still early in the US, but as soon as people wake up, they will be shit talking you.

If you think it is funny to have your car shit talked, keep the post up, and soon enough you will get some funny comments.

If you don't want to be shit talked on, delete the post before people see it.

Thank you for the heads up - it's my wife's car 😄
I would rather take shit from the internet in hopes there is on person out there that can point me in the right direction to fix the screen than my wife shit talking to me until I sort this out!

Alright... you might get some good advice, but you're about to be roasted.

to be honest I never knew there even was a movement against Nissan drivers. I knew the stereotypes of BMW drivers and their non existent indicator skills, Tesla drivers and their love for men, but Nissan is a new one for me 😄

In Europe there doesn't appear to be so much hate for them - or I was just unaware. I guess I'm about to find out!

Normally, I would wait for the hilarious comments. You seem chill though.

Go on Crutchfield and put your Year/Make/Model. You’ll find everything you need to know, and you can purchase the parts. Unsure about shipping to the UK, but at least you’ll know what you are looking for.

This. For well over a decade I've been using Crutchfield as well. They have dedicated harnesses and very good instructions.

Just upgraded the kid's '03 Corolla with a CarPlay compatible unit.

You need a stage 2 bumper delete that will automatically update your radio unit

Buy the cheapest unit. If it doesn't fit, don't reassemble it. You can also remove other peices of trim for the aesthetic
