The Anthem of Germany should be “Auferstanden aus Ruinen”

Current one is historically and culturally more special for Germany. But yeah, GDR's anthem is also cool.

Nice piece of music but way too depressing. National anthems should be happy, empowering, uplifting, energizing, not wanna make you wanna KMS.

Auferstanden aus Ruinen certainly has a more stirring melody than the current. Some people would bristle at having a national anthem directly connected to the GDR. I personally bristle at the current being merely a different verse of the national anthem used during the Nazi regime.
