Why can’t Sakura and hinata both be medic Nins? Both fandoms need to unite both of our favorite characters are the most hated

This is addressing both Hinata and Sakura fans.

Whenever there’s a Hinata medic nin fanfic it always has to have some typa Sakura bashing which is annoying. They also ruin Hinata’s personality which is annoying. No Hinata doesn’t hate Sakura no Hinata would possess the super strength that Sakura and tsunade possess that’s not Hinata at all which ruins her character and the fanfic.

Now Sakura fans why do yall get so upset when people say Hinata should’ve been a medic nin. No one is trying to replace Sakura ik the Hinata fandom can get very ugly but I promise you Hinata being a medic nin doesn’t take away from Sakura. You don’t have to lie and say she has terrible chakra control and that she would be a terrible medic nin.

Hinata has very great chakra control she literally molds her chakra into her twin lion fists and her 8 trigram 64 palms so idk why people believe this. In regards to hianta being a medic nin I honestly thought it was implied with her anatomy and herbal knowledge as well as her making healing salves. She wouldn’t be a sakura or tsunade typa medic nin with the super strength nd stuff but it would make sense for her to be a medic nin with the byakugo her personality and knowledge and chakra control. Her being a medic nin should’ve been canon.

Hinata and sakura are different in fighting style and personality if they both were medic nin and had the byakugou it would be very different still. Sakura would have her super strength and still be headstrong and stuff and hinata being a medic nin wouldn’t make her the slug sage so it wouldn’t take that away from Sakura either so she’d still be one of the sages.

Hinata is flexible and that’s one of her strengths even neji acknowledges that it makes up for her lack of brute strength and helps her evade her enemies and out last them.

Two very different characters even if they bother were medic nin it wouldn’t take away form one character because they are different from personality and fighting styles.

Sakura and hinata are friends close friends canonically why are both fandoms beefing. They both got short sighted by kishimoto and both are the most hated characters in the entire show yet both of there fans hate each other.

I’m writing a fanfic that shows this btw and both do my favorite girls won’t be obsessed or in love with Naruto and sasuke they’d be focused on themselves

Everyone should have AT LEAST basic first-aid and medical knowledge as genin, as chunin they should know basic medic jutsus, as jounin their level should be closer to intermediate than beginner. Then you have the ones that specialized in it which would stay in the village or get good enough to go out in teams.

I've never seen this phenomenon of Medic Hinata and Medic Sakura fans fighting each others lol. I honestly don't see neither of them as medics, but if we go by abilities, yeah, Neji and Sasuke would be medics too.

Also wdym Hinata is also one of the most hated characters in the show? I've never seen this, how is this possible? I thought she was very loved 💀

Whaaaaat that's crazy wtf. She's always been so loved in and out of Japan. With Sakura I still see, many fics that misinterpret her, they write her as a shallow girl with temper issues that's obsessed with Sasuke to the point of not caring what happens to others.

But lately I've seen a rise of authors that do the opposite and end up bashing other characters instead, usually Naruto (God bless him) or Sasuke. It's similar to the rise in stories I'm seeing with Hinata too.

Independent girlboss that doesn't need romance in her life, gets all the cool things, it's the only smart person in the room and farms badass moments while other characters just eat dirt...

At the end of the day, people just want to bash.

Omg there’s so many dedicated Hinata hate accounts and Reddit has shifted from being in favor of Hinata to hating her and spreading lies about her character which I would say are new gen fans that have aren’t critical thinkers and can’t see motif and symbolisms or see sum shit that’s straight in front of them they say Hinata has terrible chakra control she isn’t flexible her and Naruto was random which if u paid attention it really wasn’t him relaxing his love for her was rushed but my 8 year old self knew and even noticed there matching outfits in each era nd stuff her and Sakura hate rn I’d say are on the same level and there fans are fueding despite both girls being very close friends  which annoys me they’re both my favorite characters and I can see myself in both and i wished better for them both omg and they say husbands is a fan service character when she’s always dressed modestly throughout the entire series and these Hinata hate videos are getting millions of likes I’ve literally had to filter out #midnata trashnata frim my fricking TikTok i been had done that way back then for sakura but the Hinata hate is crazy it’s the new gen fans even tho i kinda classify as one but yeah no common sense cant see motifs symbolism watch the anime and take it as face value never read the manga or the data books or purposely ignore what they watch they say Hinata didn’t care that neji died and that all she was worried about was Naruto’s warm hand when I go back and watch it when he got hit she cried but had to compose herself cause it’s a war duh and she held Naruto hand and said it felt warm referring to his fricking kyuubis chakra and after the war she cries profusely for neji and names boruto after him

If anything, Neji would probably do better as a medic than Hinata due his control being top-notch. Sasuke might not have the delicate touch though lol

Ya Hinata hate is definetly rising.... not as bad as Sakura's hate yet, but more people are reading the manga now so things are switching up

Even though i agree everthing you said about the fans and all I really dislike how most of the female characters that we know closely have healer roles.

Tsunade, sakura, ino, hinata. This is very unnecessary. Ino and hinata are heiresses with unique powers. They should be leading, doing politics or i dunno other things. Not med-nin things.

Honestly ya I'm kinda sick of it too. In most media, the healers are female as it's done to keep them out of the fights. Even so we still have characters who aren't healers (Hinata, Ino, Tenten) and they're still kept in the back or easily defeated. The redeeming part about Sakura and Tsunade as medics is their super strength ig, but I agree that more female healers feels unnecessary.

I know of one story where they both become med nins but it is a Sakura and Sasuke bashing story. But the former does redeem herself. 

Sakura in this pushes Naruto to far one day and Naruto catches her punch and starts to hurt her. Yeah this was before she started her training under Tsunadae. Kakashi try’s to calm Naruto down but he’s had enough of team sevens nonsense and leaves. Tsunadae in term removes him from team sevens while he rotates between the other three teams and naturally he does better on those. Getting stronger along the way.  

Sasuke gets jealous but was already to far gone. Tsunadae makes a deal with them stating that whoever does a batter job with the mystic palm would learn under her or something like that. Sasuke and Naruto are cut off from shadow clones and Sharingon respectively so no shortcuts. Naruto with Hinatas help beats Sasuke in this challenge and this pushes him over the edge and he leaves leading to the Sasuke retrieval mission. But not before nearly blinding Hinata to spite Naruto. 

Hiyashi upon finding this out gives Naruto an additional mission to kill Sasuke but Naruto instead beats him and brings him back. Typical civilian council favoritism try’s to get Sasuke out but Tsunade is having none of this and not only promotes Naruto but sentences Sasuke to death. 

Sakura is furious and charges Naruto but Naruto has enough of her nonsense and deals with her again.  During this time period Inner Sakura was trying to stop her and upon getting a giant scolding from Naruto and inner she starts to change. In this inner Sakura was actually the nice part of her she repressed previously. she starts to better herself now but Naruto however leaves so she can’t exactly apologize yet. Hinatas Byakugan are damaged and she can only see 30 meters with them resulting in Tsunadae taking the two of them plus Ino to become med Nins.

Idk, Hinata being a med-nin seems super unnecessary. She's a phenomenal tracker and tbh wouldn't be all that special of a med-nin. The databooks talk about how to be on Tsunade and Sakura's level, you need to have beyond perfect control. I mean, Shizune is described as having perfect control and literally changes her chakra on the molecular level to create poison internally yet she still failed to reach Tsunade and Sakura's level. It's much harder than people think.

General first aid like Ino has though? Sure that makes sense.

My headcannon is that Hiashi wanted for Hinata to be a medic nin bc it's s safer option, she wouldn't be on the front lines etc. And Hinata was nope I'm not spending my time in battles waiting for people to get hurt, I'm stopping it from happening and you can live with that. Bc she knew she would never be able to get the seal that Sakura and Tsunade have so that she can fight while being a medic.

Oh, I believe Hinata could be anything she wanted, but I don't like it when all the women get pushed into being medics as if that's the only way they can be valuable. Naruto canon is very limited with career opportunities, unfortunately, so I do get it.

But TenTen got to be a weapon salesman, Ino got into surveillance (along with having some medical knowledge), Sakura is a medic - all that makes sense.

Hinata is canonically a housewife, and I don't have a problem with that. But if she was still an active ninja, could we find something else for her to do? Surveillance with Byakugan makes sense. Her being a stealth assassin that only gets sent on the most dangerous assignments (so that she can be at home most of the time) is badass. Or even go further, give her a job that has no connections to ninjas - journalist (pretty sure Konoha has some sort of newspapers, and she could see so much with her Byakugan), a realtor (there is after all a lot of new houses in Boruto and she is very presentable and I would trust her with my life), she could run a daycare. 

Possibilities are endless, and I don't tie Hinata's worth to her being a medic or not.

But to add on, as I just noticed that you're writing a fic (and pls share it!) I assume it's during Naruto, not Boruto. Isn't Team 8 a tracker team? (No idea if it's canon or fanon tbh) It would be cool to expound on that. We only kinda see it when she was a part of Sasuke retrieval mission during Shippuden, and then Kakashi's dogs and Kiba were doing most of the work.

Ok what I get what u mean by you don’t want every women to be a medic but for Hinata like early on in the anime and even in the data books that tell u about her all brung up her knowledge in anatomy and medicinal herbs and her gentle nature it would’ve made more sense for her to be a medic nin rather then Sakura but I’m not mad at Sakura being a medic nin in my honest opinion if I had to rewrite Hinata I’d play more into her being the clan head and her byakugan princess title from hamura and develop why toneri wants her in the last through out the entire series instead of just that one movie and develop the byakugan more even give her the tensigan and yes team 8 is supposed to be a tracking plus surveillance team yet they never expanded on team 8 at all the way they did shikamarus team neji and lee and team 7 they al basically got upgrades leaving team 8 and ten-ten behind and ill link it once i publish it it’ll be on Wattpad ao3 and fanfic.net my point was why do people get so offended when people say Hinata should be a medic nin it wouldn’t be like she’s replacing Sakura they’re both very different characters them being medic nins would look very different. And when she is a medic nin in fanfic it’s only super Sakura bashing ones and they take away from her personality which annoys me.

You're right. In canon, Hinata and team 8 are trackers. Out of the three of them, Kiba is the most attack based, then Shino, and lastly Hinata. I think she suits tracking a lot more than healing imo
