Homebased FFL’s

Curious as to people’s feelings and experiences on home based FFL’s? Good experiences, bad. What could have made experiences better. Any reservations in why those that have never contacted one as to why you haven’t?

Most of my transfers have been through home based FFLs and they've honestly been great. Lower fees, easier communication, and more flexible pickup times than a lot of storefronts, though clear hours and quick responses go a long way toward making the experience even better.

The only hesitation some people have is meeting at a private residence for the first time, but a professional website, clear process, and good reviews usually take care of that concern. If you're considering starting one, the fact that you're asking for feedback already puts you ahead of a lot of folks.
