The fact that it's being referred to as simply "New Project" and not "Season 3" makes me think it's going to be a movie. Although of course, it could be a short ova.

But that doesn't matter. The most important thing is that we get more of the series.

As far as I’m aware, there isn’t enough material for a full season 2, but novel readers can tell us how much published material we actually have left.

LN 7 = the big day

LN 8 = short stories

LN 9 = honeymoon

I haven't seen episode 13 yet, and the remaining chapter of LN 6 not covered is the final chapter, so there's a possibility some scenes in LN 7 will be in episode 13.

Ok. So it sounds like there is enough for a season 3, but more likely LN 8 will be its own thing and LN 7 & 9 will be adapted together, in whatever form that takes.

There's no announcement yet for LN 10 but I suppose so. The late commander Godou died because of an ancient and powerful grotesquery. It was mentioned in the light novels covering season 2 IIRC but not mentioned in the anime. Its existence is present in LN 7 and I believe the antagonists going forward has something to do with it.

There are 7 books in the light novel. I finished book 6 and that would cover episode 12 and part of 13. Book 7 so far is going towards the actual marriage.

Si no llegara a quedar material es porque el anime quizo (quien en su sano juicio mete 4 novela en 1 temporada), en la novela 8 podían tomar antes de que Kiyoka fuera parte de la unidad antigrotescos (cuando aún vivía el padre de Godou) así daría pie para la 7ma novela que gira en la araña terrestre y su matrimonio (sigo odiando a la pinche araña y la pinche familia esa también)
