I don’t get why people are comparing what is written vs fan favorites.

Fan’s having favorites isn’t really related to what actually goes on in the story.

Yeah I agree, people are allowed to have favorites.

Also ngl, most of the fandoms listed here i just don't agree with as female dominated OR that the singular male character get all/most of the attention. The only one I think is accurate is Steven Universe and it's not a sexist show my any means.

I don't think it's as common an issue as the post implies.

Reminds me of how sometimes people try to turn it into some kind of issue that often male characters are more liked than the female ones when it's usually because the viewers are just more into male characters because they're attracted to them lol
