Regarding the father of the Muddler

Good day, everyone! I would like to ask a few questions:

  1. Is it true to say that it is unknown which sibling - Hodgkins or his long lost brother - is the older and younger one?

  2. Is it true that it is not officially confirmed/directly stated that Hodgkins' long lost brother is the father of the Muddler?

  3. Is it unknown which side of the Muddler's family Hodgkins belonged to? (whether Hodgkins was the Muddler's paternal or maternal uncle remains something confusing I can't solve myself)

I cannot answer for number one. There is probably no information as it does not really matter or affect anything.

For number 3, i think it is confirmed that it is on the paternal side, answering your second question. Hodgkins is not the father, and there are no other brothers mentioned, so its safe to assume that his lost brother is the father of the muddler. It is not confirmed but there arent really any other options.

And, thank you for answering these questions! However, what if Hodgkins had an unseen sister, who would be the Muddler's mother lost in the thorough cleaning? Couldn't that make him his maternal uncle?
