The future of Salize is secure NSFW

The royal announcement shows me looking like my old self.

My fellow Saliz, I have wonderful news. Two days ago I welcomed to the world the crown princess and two princes. While we are still deciding the names of the two boys, the eldest will be Alexa II.

I will announce dates for tours and visits soon. I will also be able to dedicate more time on freeing our people. Stay strong!

I am so sorry to hear that. I will confess, I do not know much you other than what I have seen in the news recently. But I know not your connection to the Matriarchy and when and how we, as you say, failed to protect you. I wish we could save EVERY woman in the Empire and Salize, but we can really only help those women that make it to our borders. If you ever manage to escape your cruel owner and make it to the Matriarchy I promise that you will be accepted as a refugee.

You will hear demands of extradition, especially for confirmed criminals and rebel activists. Your borders are only what you make them.

You realize that, in your refusal, the consequential breakdown in relations ensures that all male Salizian combatants captured by the Empire will similarly never be released? The same applies to any Matriarchy citizens "unlucky" enough to be "caught in the conflict," if you understand my meaning.

Our citizens are prohibited from entering Salize without express permission from the government and all our citizens are prohibited from taking up arms against you. Neither of our countries wants open conflict. So our citizens will not be caught up in the conflict. But we will offer asylum to any woman who comes to our country. This is simply not up for debate. I suggest you worry about your own problems and not worry about the fates of the handful of poor women who come here from Salize.

Oh, I'm certain at least a few will be "caught in the conflict..."

Though, if you wanted them back safely, the burden of proof would be on you...

I will assume you are not speaking for your leaders. I know that your leaders appreciate that many of your citizens enjoy travelling as tourists to the Matriarchy because our two nations enjoy peace and would never be so foolish as to threaten the safety of each other's visiting citizens simply because our governments have a diplomatic dispute.
