Where does setting spray go?

Obviously I know its applied to your face but im wondering where in my routine its supposed to go? Ive watched multiple creators applying setting spray throughout their makeup routine instead of just as the last step. Im a beginner in makeup and very confused

Me: foundation, concealer, setting powder, bronzer, blush, and finally eyes.

If you want extra security, setting your face after foundation and concealer then again after all of it will do the job. But if you don’t want that many layers or just want to keep it simple one layer will be fine at the end
