Found in a waiting room

Bored as hell in a waiting room but they had this 2018 magic eye book. Some pretty striking effects in this one but I found this series of dogs to be the funniest images.

Does anyone else think these types of images are so much better than many of the posts here that have a plain static background? These pics were photos, so some were a little off, but the cover image, for example, was excellent.

The images on this sub are mostly an object and a blank background but the images in the books are genuine art that tells a story. I’m sure the folks in this sub are having fun making them and I’m glad they have that, but I do wish there was a little more creativity in composing an interesting canvas like these old Magic Eye books

is it a cat playing pool? or the piano?

I'm usually good at magic eye but these are tough for me

eta: I had a harder time with 10 than I'm willing to admit

The take on Dogs Playing Poker is fun and well done; the cat (26) is my favorite.

That all said, hey OP, I'm not saying your a talking dog with a Reddit account, but if the "custodian" that brought you to the "waiting room" is crying, consider leaving now, because I am fairly sure this is the kind of book that would be found in a veterinarian's waiting room.

Thank you for the share. I hadn't seen this Magic Eye book before.

I loved the detail in the dogs playing poker, though it's a bit challenging as it feels like there's different depth needed to see certain details.

Page 26.. I feel like there's nothing inherently wrong with it, but its easily misinterpreted to being a NSFW photo.

Definitely loses some detail in the photo compared to in person

Was it the waiting room at the vet?

THIS is the Magiceye that I remember! I LOVE these pictures. I really thought I had lost the ability to see but I pick these up RIGHT away and I can ACTUALLY SEE the picture. These new ones, I get the 3D popout but cannot distinguish what the hell the picture is supposed to be.

This has me wondering if I have been doing this wrong my whole life. I kinda cross my eyes a little until parts of the image line up, then I can see depth and a popping foreground, but I can never make out what they are unless it’s really simple. How do y’all do it?
