Of course, it’s in the state’s best interest to keep prices in the monopoly high to price certain people out of the program, and keep their friends filthy rich.

It would be nice if y'all could stop voting against your own interests. Have you signed the recall yet?

Oh absolutely not — you don’t get to jump from “I’m chronically ill and getting screwed by the system” to “you voted for this.” I said I’m chronically ill, not chronically participating in whatever political fantasy you’ve projected onto me. That’s some Olympic‑level mental gymnastics, and you stuck the landing straight into condescension.

And since you decided to personalize it: I never miss a vote. Every general, every runoff, every constitutional amendment, every special election — even the damn primary that put our current clown in office. My forefathers and foremothers served this country and others; voting is the bare minimum I owe them. I’ve also spent my entire career serving and protecting the people of this state and the constitution through more political tides than most folks can name. I understand exactly what’s at stake — painfully more than the majority out there.

So if you meant me, specifically, with that “you,” then YOU can go to hell.

If you meant “you” as in the collective, then learn how to word better before assigning blame. Because “you” ≠ “we the people,” and you don’t get to erase nuance or individual circumstances just because your assrot brain wants a simple villain.

The politicians are the puppets and the least of our worries — broaden your thought horizon. Yes vote, but also be aware of who actually runs the shit show.

Oh now they're upset about the trump administration circumventing its regular rulemaking process

Think about the poor monopolies!!! As a chronically I'll person with a qualifying illness (which in many cases limits incomes), I enjoy paying at least double for my medical marijuana!!!!

Obvious sarcasm.

I don't understand why we make a flipping plant even illegal, but prisons gotta stay prison-ey too and we can't allow one of our principal repeat offenses to go off the books too. Not sarcasm, actual reasoning most likely in addition to the "pharmacy" monopolies.

What are they even bitching about? It's still a controlled substance, the state still keeps the monopoly agreement in place, and their golden boy monopoly owner gets better banking functions for his monopoly.

Like what the fuck

The local monopoly will have to compete with mail order pharmacies.

Now is the time to call Landry and guilt trip him and his love for Trump into getting Liz to drop out of the lawsuit. How dare she go against the Dictator in Chief!?!

One of the highest percentage of private prisons in the country. Louisiana for many years has had a worse incarceration rate than north Korea, think about that.

Our state is just run by a bunch of nerds.

Nerds are better than this, except the fake nerds in revenge of the nerds. Fake nerds.

I believe the 2,000 feet ban of cannabis usage from school property bill passed and is awaiting kLandry’s signature. This is one fucked up state. Bollinger, a huge Republican supporter, is making bank thru Good Day Farms. Figures.

That's like the one even-close-to-decent thing this administration has done!
