Discussion I spam lillia top and i have trouble vs yone
other than the "not play lillia top" solution i want to hear some ideas or workarounds to the matchup if anybody has ideas
most of the trouble arises when he comes back with berserker greaves. he kinda just has 0 cooldowns and once he hits 1 q3 ur just cooked
theres some things i know i gotta look out for like dont ult him when he has his E up and all that etc

Into Yone generally you're cooked, early game you can't really kite him like you would other characters because your passive movespeed is ass at the beginning and he just aa you imto death, your ult is also useless cause he has two ways to dodge it, only thing you can do is try not to do anything in lane and just kite him later, but if you try that he can just force on you because of lillia's range. It's a really hard matchup but you can play try to play aggressive since most players haven't seen Lillia top in at least two years

Lillia top is still viable, but its like you're playing with an handicap: your mana is so important that 1 wrong ability can dictate most of your laning phase; your damage is pretty decent, but other champion can burst more than you; some matchups are straight up impossible to win if you are high elo (Diamond+ people are starting to be very confident with their main, and you gonna struggle there). You can either go aggressive runes (Conq+sorcery), defensive (Conq+Resolve) or Poke (Arcane+Resolve/Precision). To me, Conqueror is always best. Your gameplan? Dont die. Dont be tempted to deal damage or to seek the kill. Cause Yone can easily out-trade you lv.2 onward. Your best bet is to take the lead lv.1 and get lv.2 early, so that you can maximize initial damage, and get a lead. But this often results in pushing your minion wave. So be mindful. Yone wants to stick up to you and will do as much, cause his kit works like that. But you have the movement speed needed to dodge most stuff. His ult is never gonna get you, unless he combos you. Be patient in lane and expect a good gank. From an OTP Lillia top player

Beating Yone is all about beating the player more so than the champ. Yone and Yasuo love to have a Q3 up as much as possible. However, they need to q minions or you twice. This means that if you are playing around minion waves well without throwing away hp for no reason, he's almost always perma pushing into you. Just receive the wave and free farm with him having little to no kill pressure. Exhaust is also really nice into him. If he rushes t2 boots, you can also replicate with tabis. rushing boots gives him basically ability haste, but he doesn't really do much damage if you have tabis, since he's all attack speed. I'd recommend unflinching and boneplating instead of sorc tree for this matchup. Getting a lost chapter more than makes up for mana issues. Since Yone deals hybrid damage, getting both 10 armor and mr when hit by the occasional q3 or ult all in can be the difference between living and dying.

The only thing i can think of is try to constantly have high prance and play at range when he has Q3, try to have unpredictable movement when he has Q3 so he might whiff it and open up your third eye to have the reaction time of a god so you can dodge the Q3 slash. Widdle him down with quick Qs when he Qs or Ws minions and maybe you can all in him with ult later on.

Bro how u lane vs ambessa, Darius, camille, fiora, irelia, and anything else that is not a tank? Like yone is one of the easier matchups if i see this list xd

i know, you dont want to hear that but Lillia isnt good top anymore and even to the time where she was busted yone was an extrem hard matchup.
Their is no magic trick that will help you, your only solution is to farm save and catch him when he tries to dive you, otherwise, use your aoe to push the wave fast and roam with your jungler and tempo, you cant fight him in lane when the other player is even skiled with you, not early, not late.
You can build randuins, tabis, do reduce his crit and aa dmg but thats it, otherwise, tickle him down with e and time your w in the moment he jumps to dodge or hit him.
