Chiedi Best area in Liguria

Ciao a tutti. Scriverò in inglese perché forse questo post potrebbe essere utile a qualcuno nel futuro.

my husband (American) and I (Swiss) plan to move to Italy. I grew up in Torino and in Puglia (small town). We are moving next year from California. My work will transfer me (global company with office in Milano) and his work is US based remote. He’ll be on the family reunification visa or remote worker visa. My work will cover this.

we are looking at areas along the coast, Liguria or Puglia, maybe Rome as it’s a major city and accessible to everything.

top things we would like in our future home in Liguria: access to hikes, outdoor activities (mtb, climbing), 2-3 hrs from skiing, surfing, sport club with tennis, golf (not necessary but nice to have), no need for good schools (no kids), parks and green spaces to walk dog (need a good vet). we either want to be near a little bit of everything or outside the city a little, we will have a car/moto.

we have a 2 week trip in June.

grazie mille!

Yes we want to be able to have access to a lot of outdoor activities, tennis, MTB, surf, hikes and be near cities for convenience and restaurants. I love St Tropez and skiing so being 3 hrs max is ideal for me.
