Los Angeles Terra and Tonya’s Relationship
Terra and Tonya’s relationship is so strange to me. Let me example, as someone who binges LWLA religiously I’m here to tell you just how off and one-sided their relationship dynamics seems to me. As an outsider looking in, it seems as if Tonya cares much more about Terra than Terra could ever care about Tonya. It’s so strange to witness Tonya continuously go to bat for Terra, yet Terra seems to have no problem throwing her under the bus, and is just plain disrespectful majority of the time to her. I’d say from season four and onward their relationship gradually falters and Terra is the main reason for that. And before anyone tries to claim that I’m overthinking, do you even watch the show?

Yeah their friendship very obviously takes a nose dive during the show. In her book she really does/did seemed to value Tonya. HOWEVER Terra wanted content and drama to keep the show afloat more than she wanted to take care of her friendships.
You can even compare it to Christy and Tonya’s relationship on the new show. Christy is very obviously down for the fake drama and Tonya is being mean but isn’t saying anything extremely private about Christy that would hurt her (unless I missed something).

Terra is a user she uses Tonya kindness for her advantage and when it benefits her but when tonya needs her she’s not there

Agree...plus Terra made sure she was producing. I think it's a terrible practice to have a reality TV cast member also being an executive producer. Terra is horrible, but more than that, she was working overtime to make the show "better."
