What are the main differences, disputes and disagreements between left-libertarianism and right-libertarianism?
I am asking this in order to develop a better mental map of the key points, elements and concepts that distinguish left-libertarians from right-libertarians, and vice versa. How could these differences and disagreements ideally be outlined, structured and summarized?
What are some clear cases and examples of ideas and policies that are supported by right-libertarianism but opposed by left-libertarianism, and vice versa? Why is that the case?

July 2024 r/Libertarians's Monthly Concern Index / Poll
This is 's Monthly Concern Index / poll. This informal poll provides an idea of what the sub and its visitors are currently concerned about as it relates to all things libertarian and forces acting to diminish freedom and liberty. Going month to month, these polls will serve as a barometer of what concerns are persisting, rising, or subsiding.
- Please upvote what concerns you the most
- Please downvote if you strongly disagree
- Leave unvoted if you're unsure, undecided, don't care, or are in the middle.
- You can change your votes anytime, but we ask that you don't change your votes once the month is over.
Use the comment sort to sort by: best, top, controversial.
- "Top" is just upvotes minus downvotes.
- "Best" sorts based on what percentage of upvotes Reddit estimates the comment would receive if everyone votes on it. The more votes a comment gets the more confident Reddit can be about what that percentage will be.
- "Controversial": Comments have a high number of up and downvotes.
Past monthly polls will be made readily available around the end of each month so we can look back to possibly identify patterns as well as how concerns shift over time and in relation to current events.
This is still a work-in-progress feature for the subreddit, and comments in future polls may be locked to keep this streamlined. But for now we're going to leave it open ended. Please try to be as concise as possible - topics should be intentionally broad so that they don't become irrelevant over time. This also means that this thread will be subject to higher moderation standards as we attempt to hone and define "topic comments". Please also remember that you are free to post your concerns in a new thread, as long as they fall within the sub's posting guidelines. If it isn't worth a post, use the "everything else" weekly post.
Please bear with us as we refine this feature throughout the next few months, and thank you all for participating!
