If you want to march in the parade, you can go to the Outhouse centre on Capel St and join their walking group. The centre is open from 9am on June 27th. You'll need to be there before 11.25am if you want to join that group. If you only want to watch the parade, you can stand at the footpath on O'Connell St to see the different groups marching past, after 12 noon. The parade route goes from northside to southside, ending up at Merrion Square.

If you are a young person (I'm assuming because you say it's your first pride) check out 'Belong to', an organisation for LGBTQ youth, they are having a breakfast and small parade before the big one, from the civic offices. Everyone there is lovely. Can't recommend it enough. The registration is closed but you can email them anyway.

Here’s the parade route - https://dublinpride.ie has all the info you’ll need.
As for after parties - bloc party in Collins barracks is the main one for young people. It’s ticketed and ran by Mother. You can get the details on their instagram not sure if both days are sold out or what’s the story. Similarly they run after bloc party parties lot of those are sold out but you can check Eventbrite.
Capel st is usually packed till 9pm when people filter elsewhere.
Never been to the George on the Saturday but have been on a Friday of pride and it does be busy too so expect to queue and expect big crowds that’s if ya get in.
I’m sure there’s more stuff going on as well.
