Disgraceful performance, I would struggle to pick anyone who's had a decent game and against cercle ffs. Not scored all season then today..

Rommens was fine, alcocer decent too. Sakamoto was playing alright as well imo, don't get why he was subbed off.

Still very much struggling to understand what the fuck our gameplan is, none of our attackers seem to be allowed to track back, and our defenders rush into dumb 50/50s. Any time one of them gets turned it's a huge chance for the opposition. Tactical suicide, still don't understand why they thought sacking Timmy Simons was a fix to the problems we had last season.

€15m on incoming transfers so far and we're still lacking an actual 6, we have 1 left back and 2 strikers. Horrible work from the board, I hope we'll get some quality before the Antwerp match. Lucky that we've got a break from Brugge next week.

I didn't get the sakamoto sub at all. I want to see some flexibility in this tactic, every time we lose the ball it looks like a good chance for opposition. We don't look comfortable playing out from the back the way we do either, just giving the ball away needlessly. We have two strikers and one of them wasn't fancied by the club last season, can't see why that would've changed. I'd love the club to see about Ahmed abdullahi from Sunderland, pretty sure he's available for loan and he'd be fantastic option up top. Then use the funds if available for the 6 and another lb option.

Is he rapid? I feel like that's the only difference that can be made with the way we play. Someone who can get in behind and not get caught. We're too static in gameplan otherwise, long ball to either ferri to knock down and play to the wings, or directly to the wings. Then look for an overlap or a cut inside, with maybe van den keybus on the left side to provide a third option. Can't remember the last time we deviated from that, our in-and-around-the-box play is woeful.

Yeah it was always the same options which was really frustrating you could telegraph it. When you couldn't break them down and recycle possession it just looked so pathetic. Needs a strong playmaker and someone just asking for the ball making moves anything!!

Abdullahi played for Jong Gent a few seasons ago, he's extremely strong and pacey he'll take defenders on and just run at them, he looks like a real threat in a few times he's had a chance.
