Comic Spoilers Inglorious X-Force #4 Spoiler

I enjoy how Kamala is drawn in this issue, Philip Tan's style is cute. Her features get a bit erased tho I'm afraid.

Her characterization has been mostly intact, general weird story arc aside. But this all feels like it's mostly a comic for x fans which makes sense it's X-Force. But I'm not getting much as a Ms Marvel fan who hasn't read a lot of the rich X-Men history.

Just kinda felt like Kamala was in the BG like 🧍‍♀️ whole X-Lore was happening. Makes me interested to maybe fill in the blanks in the future tho.

This is a good style for her and Seeley has been doing a good job of her writing last I've seen, yeah -- nothing groundbreaking, but also not messing with the foundation to where I'm going "Who is this...? Stock teen hero #4? Got it." It's been like that for her at times, even before the X-shift, and sometimes even on the Champions.

My one complaint, as it normally is, is that I personally think giving her a tiny button nose -- with no curvy bridge/downward turn -- is cowardly when distinctly ethnic was the nose Alphona designed her with.

It's still not enough to make me pull issues of X-Force, but I'll probably still comfortably read it and maybe I get the TPB if I actually find out after that I loved it.

Yeah cute style and all but def sucks the features got erased like I said. Idt anyone has been able to match the charm of alphona at least for what personally enjoy. I wonder what he's up to these days.

The book seems to get her unfaltering kindness and compassion down. In a way that feels unique and iconic to Kamala.

Def not really the most worth pull for sure. As much as it gets right for voice, the overall plot and reason for Kamala being there makes me go "what are we doing?" more often than not.

Hmm, as Ms M fan and an X-Men fan (though I know more about Kamala) this does seem interesting. Maybe I'll check it out!
