Like realistically hes kinda just there for hype and aura in one fight and to build tension + fear of airus power....however FUCKING LOOK AT THIS MAN. This character design is fucking impeccable and is like incredibly good at conveying hiroto as a singularity or the strongest, without saying any words. Even the way he fights with kurotsuchi, and all the panels he has aura farming are just so sick.....

And then i realised this is literally just shisui from naruto. Like same exact hype and aura reliance, only existing for the development of others, itachi in shisuis case, shiba and akemura in hirotos, and being used mainly as a plot device....but man hiroto is so fucking awesome

GIVE THIS MAN MORE SCREENTIME SOMEHOW TACO SENSEI, SO I HAVE VALID REASONS TO PLACE HIM AS MY NO.1

Naruto fans went crazy over Shisui? I recently read the manga and he didn’t do much. Hiroto at least wasn’t offscreened by Danzo.

I don’t think we even saw him fight, just that he was supposedly on equal terms with Itachi at that age.

Naturally cool Uchiha design, good friendship with Itachi, all around solid guy known for his body-flicker and a mangekyo genjutsu that doesn’t make much sense but hey, works for the plot.

(Seriously, why would Kotoamatsukami have a ten year cooldown, let alone how anyone could possibly know that; the guy was like 13 when he died.)

I often forget that the scene where Danzo fights Shishui onscreen, while canon and written by Kishimoto, is actually an exclusive animation from a storm game.

Shisui is really an anime-only phenomenon. In the manga you don't see nearly as much of him as you do Hiroto, he is essentially just a name and a silhouette.
