Fishing for bream roach perch in Sligo, hooked into a pike for a second while reeling in a little roach, came off though.

Two reasons, to record the total catch and prevent catching the same fish twice.

It's a standard match fishing set-up, used by serious coarse fishermen. This guy knows what he's doing.
