Any advice welcome

Ive wanted to keep invertebrates for quite a few years and have finally decided to go ahead and get some bigger ones. Ive done all my research and made sure I have everything I need but I wanted to ask in here for advice as theres no harm going over the basics again (I've kept isopods before and work in a pet store helping to look after mantids) and to see if anyone has advice for a new keeper.

So far ive got a Thai forest scorpion, a Chaerilus variegatus and two black fire millipedes coming that ive never tried keeping before. Ive also got a green Asian mantis, an orchid mantis and various isopods and a springtail culture (so I can make my terrariums bio-active) coming but im confident with them.
