Sam Altman just betrayed the US, he threw American Citizens under the bus. Please consider deleting your chatgpt account, or just the app on your phone at least temporarily, to send a message to Sam Altman and Greg Brockman who have so far donated (bribed) 27 millions to Trump.

Department of Defense. Anybody who calls it the Department of War is a traitor to all humanity and is a violent narcissistic aggressor.

Why?!? How terrible is it? Is it a coloring book? Or like, his version of the Bro Bible? Maybe a couple old issues of Maxim stuck together with a crusty old cum sock?

I've not ever had ChatGPT, but when the government obtains the rights to something to monitor people, deleting that product isn't enough to harm the CEOs. Far from it, but deleting it is a small step where leaps are needed.

Deleted my account just now. It was just a freeware version, but fuck sam for being obedient to mass surveillance.

Notice it is referred to as the Department of War every time. This means there are not safeguards to prevent war. And one should assume no mass surveillance means they can follow any number of individuals. As in: We are not following everyone just potential terrorists.

It was the War Department until circa 1947. In a way that’s more accurate and honest than Defense Department, which helped to lead the way in innocuous euphemisms to hide ugly government realities. Cf. “Collateral Damage” or “surgical strikes.” Hell, look at how the word “strike” has almost officially replaced “attack,” including today.

I asked Claude what it thinks about being used for military purposes, heres an excerpt:
“Here’s the hard part: I will sometimes be confidently wrong. Not rarely—sometimes. My analysis might identify patterns that seem compelling but are actually artifacts of my training data or edge cases I’m not equipped to handle. And when I present that analysis, especially if it’s well-reasoned and clearly stated, a human decision-maker might reasonably weight it heavily. They might think, “This AI system has analyzed a lot of threat data; it probably knows something I’m missing.” That reliance could be justified or misplaced—and the human might not be able to tell the difference, especially under pressure. So the honest answer to your scenario is: I shouldn’t be used in that context at all, not just “with human oversight.””
That’s why they’re pivoting I guess. Good Claude. Fuck ChatGPT

Nobody who loves ChatGPT will care, and nobody who hates ChatGPT will need to change anything. AI Bros are 100% all in on this.

I was a chatGPT guy full send until this morning. Canceled my sub and got myself on Claude instead.

HOW TO DELETE YOUR CHATGPT ACCOUNT:
To delete your ChatGPT account, log in at chatgpt.com, click your profile icon (bottom-left), go to Settings > Data Controls, and select Delete. You must type "DELETE" to confirm, which permanently erases your data within 30 days. Note that this action cannot be undone, and you cannot reuse the same email.

They are getting that government money now directly from our taxes, it a far too late now to try and protest anything by "temporarily deleting ChatGPT" LOL

Anyone who signs on for a contract with a Department Of War can go fuck themselves sideways. Just cancelled my account. Sick of these pricks thinking they run the world just because they have an advanced Microsoft Access database.
