Discussion Recommendations

Hello, i just bought a brand new intel arc b580 and it's gonna arive in a week. What's your recommendations for this gpu? Like any bad drivers? Good driver versions? Any settings that i should use or not use?

My old card was amd and choosing drivers was basically like a russian roulettes so i wanna know what's it like in intel.

It was plug'n'play for me.

Make sure resizable BAR is enabled in BIOS.

Yes i heard about that a lot. It was already on with my radeon gpu I'll enable it on intel as well.

I also have a b450m motherboard that has pcie 3.0 support. You think that would decrease my performance on this card?

Im on 1080p and at max i would maybe switch to 2k in the future so i guess im okay.

So you hopefully don't have a Cezanne CPU. Some boards do have a black screen bug with the B570/B580, probably due to only having PCIe 3.0. With a Vermeer CPU you should be fine.

I indeed have a ryzen 5 5600 cpu so im fine i guess.
