what makes you think britain loves democracy now?

because they have elected officials?
they also still have the house of lords which is a body of government that is entirely hereditary. and the monarchy too.

This is a complete and utter lie? There have been non-hereditary members of the House of Lords since the Appellate Jurisdiction Act of 1876. And all hereditary seats of the House of Lords have been removed. There are certainly a lot of problems with the British system of government, but you don't have to spread falsehoods about it.
