I loved Ayuko’s design and especially her swimsuit, so I couldn’t pass up a chance to try drawing her.

I invented this theory for a few reasons.

First, it's practically impossible for anyone to survive that fall from the bridge. I know that serves as a relief for me, but if we look at it from that perspective...

Kintaro could have died there, and then the forest spirit would have been his soul.

Now, the second point: I believe episode 6 would be like Kintaro's purgatory, because first, episode 6 is an original episode for the anime, it's not in the manga, and there he reunites with all the... Girls, and in this episode they're producing their own Golden Boy anime as if it were a kind of metaphor for Kintaro seeing his own life and accepting the end, and at the end of the episode it would be him going To paradise.

In this theory, I disregard what happens in the manga because, for me, Kintaro's story in the anime ended definitively in episode 6.

So, what about you guys? What do you think of this theory? Tell me, I really want to know!

It's worth mentioning that this is a way for me to imagine that nothing from the manga happened in the anime because, for me, Golden Ben in the manga...It's the saddest case of a project that changed its course.

In Blue Seed, episode 19, if you watch the segment between 4 minutes and 6 minutes, after the weird light descends from the sky, the news crew throws to their "man on the scene, Kin Oe."

Once he starts talking (it never shows him), the voice is immediately recognizable as our boy (it's the same voice actor, Doug Smith). Then at the end of his report, he ends with, "Filling in for Steve Martin, this is Kintaro Oe, signing off."

He never appeared on screen, but I bet he was studying very intensely, and perhaps he even saved the world! (But other people must have gotten the credit for it....)

I wonder what girls he met.... Maybe that girl with the anti-tank missile at 6:00.... "Ohhh, baby! You can launch my missile any time!!"

EDIT: I suppose I should mention, at the start of the segment after 4:00, a random young guy rides up on a bike wearing a backwards hat, backpack, and bike gloves. He stops at a vending machine and says, "Oh Cool! Soda!" and purchases one to drink. It's hard to tell if it's Kintaro's voice, but it sounds similar and is spoken in a way Kintaro might say it. However, when it shows the young man's face from the side and front, he has short hair (no pony tail) and just doesn't look like Kintaro. It could be an homage though.

MADAME PRESIDENT: She leaves no room for doubt, she has the most mainstream design possible: she is THE BLONDE, a super sexy bombshell, THE sexualized blonde... unlike the typical cliché of the “dumb blonde,” she is serious and intelligent, very elegant, and VERY confident... She has a lot of money, a company, and a Ferrari (she is like a Ferrari).

Pros: You will never have to work... she will provide for you!

Cons: All men will stare at your girl...

NAOKO: The brown-haired girl, she is the youngest of the group, still studying, she will torture you with fanservice without underwear, somewhat immature.

Pros: if you're still in school, you'll be with her all day... her father is a politician, you'll end up with a lot of power.

Cons:... or running away from the yakuza... she'll manipulate you or accuse you of a serious crime...

NORIKO: the most innocent, pure, and sweet of the group, she has a small food shop.

Pros: You would be her first love, she will love you forever and be faithful to you, she will be the love of YOUR life, she is also very homely and would be an excellent loving wife and mother to your children... she will cook for you every day.

Cons: Physically, she doesn't stand out at all compared to the other girls, plus you will be poor for the rest of your life selling food...

AYUKO: the wild tomboy, strong athlete, independent, disciplined, owner of a swimming pool.

Pros: I guess she also likes “jacuzzi” (hot tubs), where she'll “have fun” with you.

Cons: You have to really be up to her standards, because she's wild and will “have fun” with you tirelessly... and kill you with exhaustion/exhaustion ...or you will beg for mercy...

REIKO: She is THE BRUNETTE, a super sexy, hot, sexualized brunette (the counterpart to the blonde). She leads a double life: on the one hand, she is a VERY refined, kuudere, elegant, and traditional rich aristocrat... and on the other hand, she is a biker who likes danger... and the vibration of her motorcycle.

Pros: YOU WIN by 3!!... Cons: She likes mechaphilia (mecanofilia, mecafilia)... if you're not up to her “Bimo” and you're not reckless with danger, she won't see you as a man. Danger of dying in a horrific traffic accident. You can only claim her if you can brake your bicicle...

CHIE:...being Chie, the other brown-haired girl, she's the “girl next door” a good coworker, cool, best friend... she doesn't have much else to offer... she has “TAREME” eyes—a youthful/childlike gaze.

Pros: she's the most “normal” of the group, if you don't want someone so eccentric, she's for you, you'll work alongside your girlfriend - you'll see each other all day -...and you'll make anime!!!!

Cons: you'll never go home, because you'll live in poor conditions in the animation studio...and be poorly paid.
