💬 Local Talk Peel Centre PCN

Has anyone received a ticket after walking offsite from the Peel Centre car park? I only noticed the signs on the way back in after using the car park for Hobbycraft then just walking across the road to get a coffee.

I don’t think anything ever came of the intervention from the council, unfortunately.

It’s very misleading. The part about not leaving is so small and all the signs are only really noticeable upon entry. Who’s able to read small print whilst driving

They let go/cancelled the contracts for all the staff that used to give tickets out last year. So you’re probably good. Haven’t heard of anyone getting a ticket since.

Would be very unlucky for a parking warden to have seen you come over and see which car you got into

I wasn’t sure if it was an in person warden or ANPR based.

Supposedly they use the CCTV to see if people enter on foot and then get into a car!

I got one a few years ago and ignored it… eventually the letters stopped
