To be fair: why would Dragonball change your life? I mean I get it if you became an MMA fighter or something lol.

people who say Naruto or Gintama changed their life isnt because they became ninjas or samurai dude

Gintama is less about being a samurai than it is about dealing with the human condition. I get the comparison you're making, but can you, as a Gintama fan, wholeheartedly say Gintama and Dragon Ball are at the same level?

Edit: both are amazing, no doubt, but in vastly different ways.

of course not, thats kind of why Gintama is first there but dragon ball isnt

my point was that dragon ball isnt about martial arts, its about motivation, improving yourself, not giving up, etc. its also mostly for kids

Got it, fair point. I guess the (sometimes) friendly rivalry between Goku and Vegeta can be inspiring as well.
