Koitar⭐️ Koitar as Helel/Luzbel, Voyager as Lucifer/Satan. Book of Adam and Even and Book of Enoch
So basically, at this point we all sort of think of Koitar as someone similar to the fallen angel Helel/Luzbel/Lucifer (all his names).
BUT, Voyager... could also be Satan. Let me explain.
In the apocryphal book of Adam and Even, Satan casted his conciousness from outside the Garden of Eden (which in case, the equivalent is Teyvat).
Satan could not enter by himself the garden because it was guarded 24/7 by Uriel (the archangel) and other angels.
Both Adam and Eve were guarded by these angels at all times. BUT, there was a specific time of adoration to God, so the angels left for that leaving Eve unateded for sometime.
During this time, Satan talked to a snake in the garden (which in this case was not a serpent yet because apparently it had legs, more like a comodo dragon or dragon), then he corrupted the snake and casted his conciousness inside her.
Then he went to Eve and told her about the whole knowledge and the tree, tempting her. We know how the story finishes.
The serpent/dragon that was corrupted as well could has his equivalent in Nibelung.
So Satan corrupted both the serpent and Eve.
Then in the book of Enoch he corrupts the Watchers (other angels) into descending unto Earth, mating with women, having Nephilim (half ange, half human) and corrupting the whole human lineage.
This Watchers not only took wives to themselves but also taught humanity knowledge that was both forbidden and kept for the future. (It is said that the knowledge had to be released little by little so humans could learn at the right time and evolve around it, not tossed at once)
Basically the knowledge of the Watchers had to be discovered by humans BY THEMSELVES during their course of time. It was not good giving advanced techonology, sciences and other stuff at such an early stage of their evolution.
God asked Saint Michael to punish these angels into the Abyss. The Watchers repented but God could not forgive them for all they did. So they were casted down and imprisoned till the end of times when the Son of Man comes and the last Jugdment happens.
Which makes me think... Voyager was playing dirty. He/she could be a satanic figure as well. Not only corrupting Koitar but Nibelung as well. "Casting her conciousness into a youth" = "Satan casting his conciousness/possesing the serpent"
If Genshin is taking that route...maybe there are angelic beings in the abyss.
The HP could be God and the Traveler the Son of Man.
So basically my theory is
Koitar - Helel/Luzbell before the fall
Voyager - Satan/Lucifer
HP - God
the Traveler - the Son of Man that will reset the World at the end of times and create a new one
**I´m catholic so I read A LOT of this stuff. Not only canon scripture but also apocrypha and gnostic.

Interesting observations! The only curveball I’d throw is to take into consideration the Gnostic roots of the game.
So, while HP=“God,” we should also remember that “God” (in this case) is the Demiurge—really the false god (often equated with Yahweh of the OT) who thinks he’s the best and greatest when he’s actually outranked by other entities (ie, the aeons and ultimately the real ineffable God).
So while Voyager might be a Lucifer stand-in, he’s unlikely to be “bad.” The HP is likely the (perhaps unintentional) baddie. After all, there’s a decent number of Gnostic traditions out there where the serpent that tempts Eve is Lucifer but is also on the side of the True God, rather than the false god Yahweh.
That Traveler is a stand in for Christ, I think that’s 100% spot on. But like the Gnostic Christ, I think he’ll ultimately be someone that outclasses the HP, rather than being its creation/son/etc. He answers to a higher power, etc.

Something ain't right.... Where do you see Adam and Eve counterparts here?

there are not counterparts of Adam and Eve in Genshin. I was comparing what Satan did to what Voyager did.
Eve = First woman, first daughter of God. --> Koitar = First Angel/daughter of HP.
Adam has no equivalent unless we are talking about the Primordial Human aka Adam Kadmon which is different from the original Adam.

I kinda like what you’re saying but I think we could elaborate even more also on the topic of forbidden knowledge.
Since we don’t know what it was exactly, but we know it somehow corrupted Teyvat. We are not sure if this knowledge was actually evil or was it just the knowledge but it did corrupt Teyvat because it was not ready for it yet.
As you have mentioned, Watchers taught humanity the knowledge that was supposed to be kept for the future and as far as my knowledge goes, the same humanity had to be wiped down with flood. So again, we don’t know if that knowledge prevailed, or maybe some bits, or was destroyed together with the humanity, save for ark’s passengers. It might have been the knowledge we already have but had to discover over the years after the flood, do you think the same might happen to Teyvat? Would the knowledge resurface again and we know what it is and if is it something to be used in the future Teyvat?
I’m not sure if I phrased that well but my point is that we might see some similarities here as we dig more?

maybe... but the flood happened on Earth because of Nephilim, not forbidden knowledge.
Forbidden knowledge in Teyvay I think refers to the Abyss. So people don´t make contact to it and get corrupted.

True! The Nephilim were definitely a main reason, but I also believe that forbidden knowledge had to be one of the factors as well. It's obviously a speculation on my part tho.
Forbidden knowledge in Teyvay I think refers to the Abyss.
I have been thinking that too for some time, because it makes a lot of sense, but now I've started to wonder if they could be actually separate. I think there's still a good chance that they might be connected, but they might originate from different places? We have witnessed both abyssal corruption and withering, they've been pretty similar but different at the same time. While it's possible to somehow get rid of abyssal corruption without external consequences, to remove the withering completely, we had to erase part of Teyvat's history and that makes me think it might not be that simple.

Most of their characterizations are based on the gnostics.
Which would make phanes the demiurge while the voyager is most likely sophia instead.

So you don't know that Phanes is the one who have been compared to Lucifer. https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Aubade_of_Morningstar_and_Moon
If you're Catholic, you should already know what the Morningstar refers to.
