Any men's groups on Gabriola?

I've been living on Gabriola for over 4 years now and haven't really had many opportunities to meet new, like-minded people since I'm working from home most of the time. It seems like there are some men's groups in Nananimo, but figured I would check on my little island first. I've also checked all the Facebook groups and found nothing.

You into exercise? There's a mountain bike group that I believe goes out twice a week.

I am into exercise but I don’t mountain bike. More into weight training.

I believe a "Men's Shed" group just started up on Gabriola not long ago. https://bcmensshed.ca/sheds/gabriola-island-mens-shed/ - not sure how active it is or anything else about it.

If you're into soccer, we play on Sundays at 2pm at the Rollo McClay park, and also at 6pm at the Twin beaches. A great group of folks usually come. Highly recommend it

My family is moving from the Okanagan in July. My husband is leaving his soccer team behind. He’d love this. Do you need to sign up or is it just drop in?
