It’s from an app that changes your phone keyboard. Here’s a google drive with images/assets extracted from the app: https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1fNoCZqHBg4X22WGSFO8FXh7qjqWSAl4W?pli=1

Unused to use a jailbroken iPhone 1. There was an app store called Cydia and you could install an app called winter board or snowflake or something like that. Using that app you could retheme anything on the iPhone. Make everything windows xp bubbles, steampunk, nightmare before Christmas theme. At one point I turned my phone into a fish tank. This keypad looks like it belongs there.

u/Mordad51 Apr 02 '26

Cydia? Haven't heard that name for a long time...

u/dora2014 Apr 02 '26

I think I saw this exact pic in Google Play (or was it still Android Market back then?) in the early 10s, it was one of the popular keyboards advertising its skin support. I personally used one called Smart Keyboard, and it did support themes, but I'm not sure if this is from it.

1

u/dora2014 Apr 02 '26

What happend to smart Keyboard

1

u/AGTS10k Apr 02 '26

No idea lol. After I got a smartphone with Android 6 (after using Android 2.3 and Android 4.x ones) I tasted the greatness that was Google Keyboard in usability and ditched Smart Keyboard.

It's a downloadable keyboard for android. Surprisingly, it was last updated in 2020. Here's the link if you want it:

definitely an ad for one of those apps that change your keyboard. i'd suggest not downloading those, since they can slow down your device by a lot

Does this keyboard exist for iOS as well? Or is there a keyboard similar to this available in the App Store?

1

u/Playful-Middle-244 Apr 04 '26

Probably from some digital keyboard's apps that was pretty popular then

1

u/0Manisback0 Apr 06 '26

It's from an android launcher called go launcher and was my first launcher on my S3 and S6 edge it has free keyboard customization.
