Discussion Is it worth trying to frutiger aero this room?
I recently painted my room and I thought the blue could give of some frutiger aero vibe
I didn't choose this colour with the intention of it being frutiger aero but I've always admired the asethetic
is this paint too dark to bother trying to frutiger aero. I'm not bothered either way but it could be cool to theme it around that

Draw fishes and attach them to a string so you can tape it glue it on your ceiling!

personally I love the shade, it's so comforting and relaxing! I feel like the room has a lot of potential for a frutiger aqua theme, especially with the colored light (if you don't like this one, a bit lighter aqua/turquoise shade could work too, if it's possible, but as I said I really like the one on the pic)

I can change the colour of the bulb to anything, but yeah I might look at getting a new type of shade
I was thinking of doing a blue and white themed type of room

For sure get a floor lamp later on too, upward facing light will make the room much cozier
I got a three-headed lamp and I like it cuz I can point them in different directions :)

The color of the light (I don't know if it's the bulb or the shade. Or both?) gives me sci-fi/hospital vibes. Or kind of like the spaceship in alien if that makes sense? A warm white light would probably be a lot more relaxing :) but yes your room does have potention for a frutiger aero or especially aqua theme! Good luck and have fun decorating

The photo you just posted looks better than buying a aquarium themed wallpapers for the bedroom.

Had to scroll to far down for this, backrooms was also my first thought... It can be saved though. Different lighting (needs warm lights) and it can be turned into a very cool underwater themed room.

i'd say with the shade of blue you chose you could possibly try making your room look like dark aero?

Unironically I do like the setting of this room. It would definitely be interesting to have a Frutiger Aero setup here.

some modern lamps with spherical shapes would look really good in there, it can give you cozy lighting without having to use the big lamp, plus they look like bubbles

The unique shape of the room lends itself perfectly to the Frutiger aesthetic. Go for it Ghastly!

Look up “frutiger aero aquarium lamp”, there’s lots for cheap. Also maybe some fish wall decals. And add bright green elements, like bedding or pillows maybe. Definitely worth it, you’ve basically got a blank canvas

I got an aquarium lamp from Vapor 95 that looks gorgeous in this type of lighting!

this room makes me very uneasy. Decor and personality of any kind will make it more enjoyable. I’d want it to be FA themed then go for it. If nothing else, get yourself some wall art and change the bulb of the lamp to a warmer tone.

This room has so much potential. A lavalamp maybe. To start there. But change that light source, like we need to go 2026 cozy warm light here, on the photo it looks like a liminal backroom where they hide people. Really scary.

i think its definitely worth it! a cool lamp, light green plants, hidden led strips, and some modern white decor would make it look like a beautiful wii aquarium explosion
