Let your voice be heard -- Welcome discussion!

Hi everyone! I've finished the general changes to the layout (pictures might change. I'm trying to go for a subtle and calm layout), so we are ready to get rolling!

I'd like to start off this wonderful place by asking you a very cliche, but important question:

What does freedom mean to you?

Does it mean to be independent and autonomous of your own choices in life? Or does it mean to be free of worries in your life?

Share any life experiences that you've gone through, and let your voice be heard!

Hear Me Out

I'm not sure how many are currently aware. There is a man named Hunter Peterson who is attempting to crowd fund the purchase of Spirit Airlines. If we achieve this, we could have the first U.S. Airlines funded for the public by the public, allowing the money to flow back into the U.S Citizens pockets not back into the government. I have a proposal that we take this same idea and begin starting up a sort of public transport using the same business model as companies like Enterprise car rentals. Pushing out cars to people who need them, we can interpret this with our own insurance companies and hospitals, allowing us U.S Citizens to regain our power and own our country again. This isn't socialism this is the cost of Freedom, there will always be a dollar mark, I would rather know that money is coming back to make our infrastructure better, rather than lining the pockets of corporate elites and Government officials.

TLDR: If we can make an airline for the public by the public why don't we do it for everything else too

can you feel free while having responsibilities?

I’ve been thinking a lot about this. I have work, bills, and a lot of responsibilities, and sometimes it feels like I’m not really free because of all that.

At the same time, I know responsibilities are part of life, so I’m trying to understand if there’s a way to still feel free while handling everything.

How do you define freedom when you have a lot on your plate? And is it actually possible to feel that way, or is it just an idea?

I’d like to hear how other people see this and how you deal with it in your own life

The days of Occupy Wall Street and the Brooklyn Bridge protest

I watched the whole anonymous protest thing go down with the Brooklyn Bridge on their live stream on their site read all about their reasonings and everything for it it was strictly in protest of them clamping down heavily on freedom of assembly at the time not letting anyone assemble in this country then they later rated Anonymous members set up in rooms near the protest sites hotels and arrested Anonymous members basically painting as something completely different dangerous and almost terrorist that's the official chain of events that really happened back in those days

as somebody who regretfully voted for trump the first time he ran i do not understand why anybody who is not a fascist supported him the during the past two elections because he basically just ran as a bush style of politician.
