I wished that the Familiars had a variety of perks associated with them. But even without that, they were a lot of fun. More games need cat collecting as a mechanic.

(Of course, I would say that. I've been working with a TNR / foster-to-adopt non-profit for over a decade, and we had a hoarder evicted across the street from us some years back, right before evictions were halted due to the pandemic. The local SPCA confiscated around thirty cats; we TNR'd the ones that were too feral to catch, and kept them in a managed colony in our yard. So basically we spent the early months of the pandemic playing "Real Life Neko Atsume".)
