Fish Fry
Is there any churches in the area that don’t just serve frozen fish? Any churches serve anything handmade?
I bought this at a church on Turkeyfoot and when I got home I felt like I was robbed.

Lol nobody driving an hour for fried fish dawg. I live in La grange and there’s no way I’d drive to Burlington to fried fish but I am definitely gonna try it now. Thanks for the suggestion.

Everything is going to be frozen. Even sushi comes frozen for safety. I would be super impressed if any church has access to an abundance of fresh fish. 🐠

I think OP mean places that get just uncooked raw fish and they bread it by hand and cook it, versus getting pre-breaded partially pre-cooked frozen fish

No fish fry that does any real amount of business would do this.
Its all frozen, pre breaded stuff. There are various levels of quality however.

For some reason I stumbled onto this via the algorithm. Probably because Florence sc is a town near me. Usually the churches sell fried bream for fund raisers, usually with white bread. Do yall not have irrigation ponds or watering holes where people fish? Down here you can snatch a hundred or so in about an hour or two. They are beside every field or farm.

I haven't lived in the area for a while, but we always loved the fish fry at Mary Queen Of Heaven on Donaldson Highway, near CVG.

St. John the Baptist on Dry Ridge does a wonderful menu with homemade sides.

Try local restaurants and bars. In my area they take pride in their offerings this time of year.

That's Weak fish fillet. That's not even GFS quality. Sacred Heart in Fairfield Ohio put on a seriously tasty fry ran by the KofC. Ya know just for the Halibut. So you will be supporting the chruch, and the KofC at the same time, and getting a much better quiality fry.

St pats is the best. Also just had knights of Columbus in Erlanger. Great looking fish and the best hush puppies I’ve ever had.
